World Books Day

We all had a fantastic World Book Day! It began with an assembly, followed by a book swap then each class recommended their favourite books.

Here are some highlights:

Reception shared a story with their guardian

Year 1 listened to a live story called Archie the Robot

Year 2 listened to an extract from the book Matilda and a song from the musical

Year 3 participated in a live session with Michael Morpurgo

Year 4 created some wonderful posters for their book area

Year 5 created some amazing bookmarks for their favourite core books

Year 6 did a character book quiz in houses.

Well done to the joint winners: St Thomas More and St Edmund Campion.
